Year 2026 has been tough for major crypto events, and community-driven gatherings have been hit especially hard - but we pulled through. Rather than scale back, we doubled down: moving to the Municipal House - one of Prague's most iconic Art Nouveau landmarks - and curating a program with even greater care, proving that community-first events can thrive even in a bear market.

ETHPrague is a coordination space where protocol researchers share rooms with artists, urbanists, sustainability advocates, and governance experimenters. This year that meant having Marian Goodell, a founder of Burning Man, on stage talking about large-scale human gatherings. That kind of mix doesn't happen at other events. The program spanned three tracks - Ethereum Core, Network Economy, and Future Society - featuring also Vitalik Buterin, Micah Springut of Monumental Labs, plus 127 more speakers. The conference and hackathon ran as a single unified experience 64 teams competed for $41.5k in prizes. The fifth edition reminded us - and hopefully everyone who attended - exactly why we keep doing this.
